Students will learn about some of the most impactful styles to lead and walk away discovering which style fits them best as well as craft an action plan for implementing it into their school year and areas of involvement.

Elevating Your Leadership As An Emerging Leader!

Three Styles of Leadership That Will Enable You To Thrive, Succeed, and Make An Impact As A Student Leader!

Vince Lombardi, one of the most successful professional football coaches ever once said, “Leaders are not born, they are made.”

This powerful statement on leadership not only reveals the importance of leadership development training, but it helps us recognize the value that leadership development programs can have on our ability to thrive, succeed, and make a positive impact in the world as a leader.

In this powerful leadership keynote presentation, Dr. Jay not only talks about three styles of leadership that he has discovered within his research on different styles of leadership that have a direct impact on leadership effectiveness, retention, engagement, and performance of others within a team, but he provides a solid definition of leadership, helps emerging leaders identify specific leadership qualities that can be extracted from these different styles leadership, and leads them through a set of activities that will enable them to create, develop, and implement an effective style of leadership as an emerging leader within their campus community.

After learning about the different aspects of an effective leader, Dr. Jay will conclude the leadership conference with an interactive and engaging presentation that is focused on helping you develop your style of leadership as an emerging leader within your campus community.

Literally, with other student leaders, you will reflect upon your experience, highlight the specific leadership lessons that you have discovered at the conference, and create a leadership style statement that you can use to further grow and evolve into an impactful leader in college and beyond.
