Leadership Honor Society

The Leadership Honor Society honors and recognizes outstanding student leadership. The goal of the society is to bring the premiere leadership on campus together to collaborate, communicate, and advocate for the betterment of student organizations, students, and leadership efforts at WSU. 
 
Membership Qualifications 
The qualifications for membership include character, intellect, service and leadership. Exemplary character shall be the primary consideration. To be eligible for membership, a student must meet the following requirements:
 

    • Top 35% of their class academically (3.3 GPA)
    • Exhibit scholarship, leadership skills, and exemplary character.
    • Excel in any of the following areas: scholarship, athletics, community service, campus governance, social activities, journalism, speech and the mass media, creative/performing art.

List leadership positions and volunteer experiences at WSU and other colleges/universities. If you have held more than five (5) positions, list the top five experiences you would like the selection committee to consider.




Identify a leader who has impacted your life.   Share an example of what that person did effectively to lead.


 

 

LHS is committed to service.   Suggest a service project LHS could get involved with.   Share why this project is important to you and why it is important to other members of LHS.



 

If granted membership into LHS, what do you want to accomplish one year from now?



List two professional references that would be able to comment on your involvement and character as a leader.
